Tech - Auckland (New Zealand)

He started producing on an Amiga 500 in approximately 1987 using ModTracker. Purchasing his first set of turntables over 12 years ago, Tech was the kid who always took over the stereo at school parties, and played a collection of tracks everyone knew, interlaced with a few tunes that people thought were a bit weird sounding, but ok. Years later, they would realise that he had been playing the beginnings of what would become the new movements in dance music - there was Downbeat, there was House, there was Techno, there was Breaks and there was Jungle... Tech is a DJ and a Producer - comfortable producing and mixing his own tunes live, or putting together a selection of some of that very fuzzy genre 'electronica' has become. He was recording for such labels like Next Essence Recordings or Deep In Dub, currently he is focusing on his radio shows and well recognized parties in Auckland.
