DJ Posse - Veria (Greece)

George Gkioul was born in Veria (Greece) in 1979. From an early age he started his research in electronic music and dance culture. Primature listenings such as The Prodigy, Future Sound of London, DJ Savage, Sven Vath, Acid Junkies, DJ Funk, Robert Armani, Marshall Jefferson, Jeff Mills had already prescribed his forthcoming music trip. At the age of 16 he starts the experiments on mixing but it wasn't the right time yet. When he moved to Italy for studies he had the chance to watch great performings and meet another aspect of the underground scene. Back in Greece in the year 2003 he participates in the genesis of mono:tone DJ team, project of a triple reunion of friends. Since then he plays music at their own parties and other events. His dj sets varying from House & Tech House to retro Acid & Techno trying to keep the spirit alive. This period he appears eventually on small dance bars in Saloniki and focusing more seriously on music production.
